Dr. Someswar Kesh teaches courses in Data Communications and Networking, Information Security, Database Management Systems, Information Systems Architecture and, Web Development.
Dr. Kesh believes in a student-centric teaching philosophy and encourages student involvement both in and out of the classroom. Students are encouraged to further their learning through research, laboratory exercises as well as visit to companies. He frequently discusses the teaching material with various employers.
Dr. Kesh has published over 35 research papers in various peer-reviewed journals as well as international and national conferences. He has presented seminars in many conferences as well as in universities and schools abroad. His research interests are in the areas of Information Security, Risk Management, Health-care Information Systems and Knowledge Management.
