Brown, Pamela
| Pamela Brown, Ph.D. (Miami University, 2012). Dr. Brown teaches graduate gerontology courses and undergraduate sociology courses. She is currently serving on the Board of Directors of Sigma Phi Omega National Honor and Professional Society as Treasurer. This is her third term on the Board. She is a member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, Golden Key International Honour Society, Alpha Kappa Delta National Honor Society (Sociology), Sigma Phi Omega Honor Society (Gerontology) and Psi Chi National Honor Society (Psychology). Previously Dr. Brown served as the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE) Intern in Washington, D.C. and was the 2007 Graduate Scholarship Recipient of the Southeastern Association of Area Agencies on Aging (SE4A). Dr. Brown’s research is currently focused on: middle-aged women and their transition into PhD programs, middle-aged women’s relationship power, and undergraduate gerontology students’ knowledge of older adult sexuality.
