New Gender Violence Prevention requirement for students

To further promote a safe and civil campus, and to comply with the new federal Campus Sexual Violence Elimination (SaVE) Act, beginning January, 2014 all students who are new to UCM must complete an online gender violence prevention program. First year students under the age of 24 will receive this information through AlcoholEdu for College. New transfer, graduate, and non-traditional students will complete the Haven program. Students must complete their respective course by February 14th to be able to enroll in classes the following semester. Thank you for helping our students understand this new requirement. For more information about either course visit the Office of Violence and Substance Abuse Prevention website.
