2014 Missouri Minimum Wage Increase

The Missouri Department of Labor has announced the state minimum wage rate will increase from $7.35 to $7.50 per hour effective January 1, 2014. The current federal minimum wage rate is $7.25. When the state minimum wage is higher than the federal rate, workers are paid at the higher amount.

New assignments for current employees making less than $7.50 per hour will not be necessary. UCM will systematically increase the assignments to reflect the new minimum wage rate. Current hourly rates of $7.50 or more will not be affected.
