Spelunkers Delight Tonight
Those with an interest in underground caverns will enjoy a pair of programs to be broadcast this evening on UCM's public television station KMOS-TV channel 6.1
At 8:00 pm NOVA will highlight "Extreme Cave Diving," as explorer Kenny Broad dives into underwater caves formed during the last ice age when the sea level was nearly 400 feet below where it is today.
And at 9:00 tonight, "The Cave People of the Himalaya," in which an archaeologist must dangle from a rope, spanning an 800-foot tall cliff, in order to explore caves once occupied by humans in this inhospitable region.
