On Show-Me Ag this month...
Whether it is to save money, to instill good work habits in kids, or to provide peace of mind and fresh eggs, raising your own chickens is a growing trend amongst country folk and city folk alike.
Joining Kyle in the studio is Dr. Jeff Firman, a Professor of Poultry Nutrition at Mizzou.
We also visit with the Smith family of Cackle Hacthery in Lebanon, MO. Their business has been helping people raise their own poultry since 1936.
Show-Me Ag airs on the third Thursday of every month at 8:30 p.m., and again on the following Sunday @ 6:30 p.m.
On Saturday, April 20th, University Magazine helps Outreach International fight hunger, we talk about one of UCM's newest degrees, Sports Management, and we take a trip around the world. All that and more on this Saturday's issue of University Magazine at 4:30 pm.
