Graduation Ceremony for Central Missouri Police Academy Class 2013A
UCM's Central Missouri Police Academy (formerly National Police Institute) will be holding the graduation ceremony for its spring semester class on May 8th, 2013. The ceremony will start at 6 p.m. in Union 240 on the UCM Campus. All graduates will receive their Missouri Peace Officer certificates.
Since 1981, UCM's police academy has graduated hundreds of Missouri Peace Officers who have served across Missouri and the United States. Recent graduates are currently working as Police Officers and Deputy Sheriffs from the Kansas City area to Boone County. Half of this graduating class (2013A) have already been hired or are finishing their hiring process. UCM's CMPA is becoming the police academy of choice for several agencies and recruiters from eleven agencies have visited recent classes to directly recruit CMPA Cadets. The police academy course provides 15 elective credit hours and many Cadets, while not directly seeking employment, are using the CMPA course to enhance their degree programs.
You are welcome to join as we celebrate this new group of Missouri Peace Officers!
