BrightFest, with funding from the UCM Foundation, will take place on Thursday, November 14 from 6:30-8:00.
The event is designed to connect UCM student entrepreneurs with the support that they need to take their business ideas to the next level. The support provided by investors and community members may range from mentorships to partnerships and investments.
The entrepreneurs who have been assisted by the Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) will present a 90-second pitch to the audience.
Entrepreneurs will be able to showcase their bright ideas to those who attended the event.
The student entrepreneurs have been working with student mentors who work for the SBTDC receiving advice and assistance from finance to marketing. The student entrepreneurs have completed three stages of an entrepreneur platform to be eligible for the event.
