PRSSA Brings KC Sports Broadcaster to Campus
Frank Boal, long-time Kansas City sports broadcaster, will be on campus to to share with students the differences between the media and public relations from a sports perspective. The opportunity to hear from and network with the Kansas City sports icon is planned for 2-4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, in Elliott Union Room 240. The UCM Public Relations Student Society of America is making this event possible.
Known as the Godfather of Kansas City sports broadcasting, Boal spent 28 years as the sports director at WDAF-TV 4 in Kansas City. He currently hosts the Boal Game report Saturday mornings on KSHB TV 41 and co-hosts the Chalk Talk segment with Jack Harry. He is also frequently heard on Sports Radio 810 WHB.
