Project Homeless Connect Donations Requested
Project Homeless Connect Warrensburg/Johnson County 2012 will be a one day, one stop shop to serve imminently homeless and homeless individuals and families in our community. The event will take place on Friday, October 19, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Association of Social Work Students and Phi Alpha Honor Society will collect donations of items or money through Wednesday, Oct. 17. Donations may be dropped off in Wood 005 or call for pick up service.
Urgently Needed Items: Bath Towels;Wash Cloths
Other items needed: 300 HUGE Leaf garbage bags; 300 Tall Kitchen trash bags; Sleeping bags (we can purchase in quantity for about $8 each); 300 back packs (we can purchase in quantity for about 3 each);300 packages of toilet paper; Deodorant (150 men's and 150 women's); and tarps.
Children's Area snacks and treats: about 200 juice boxes, 200 cookies, 200 snacks.
