Bird lovers delight - Tonight's Earthflight to Asia and Austrailia
Tonight KMOS-TV will present another Earthflight special, produced by the expert documentary team at Nature. In this evening's episode, skilled videographers follow Japanese cranes dancing in the snow, swallows and swifts in China's Forbidden City, lorikeets, cockatoos and budgies forming humongous flocks in Austrailia, and geese flying miles above the Himalayas.
It wasn't so many years ago that footage like this would have been unimaginable, but due to advances in miniature camera technology and the support of public television stations across the country, you can have it now in high definition from the comfort of your easy chair. "Earthflight: A Nature Special Presentation" airs at 7:00 tonight on channel 6.1
