Edward Snowden interview this weekend on KMOS-TV channel 6.3

Former NSA contractor Edward Snowden talks about his revelations, industrial espionage and death threats in an interview to be broadcast on The MHz Worldview network this weekend. The program "Close up - The Current Affairs Documentary" will air on KMOS-TV channel 6.3 at 7:00 and 10:00 Saturday evening, February 1st and again Sunday evening, February 2nd at 10:00.

After six months of preparation, journalist Hubert Seipel succeeded in conducting the first television interview with Snowden since his flight to Russia from Hong Kong. The taping of the interview with Snowden, who disclosed espionage activities of the US intelligence agency NSA, took place at an undisclosed location. The interview, conducted and broadcast in English, is being distributed by Germany's international broadcast service, Deutsche Welle.

Whether you agree with Mr. Snowden or not, it's a journalistic contention that information is a vital component of a functioning democracy. If you appreciate access to information from original sources, I hope you'll choose to support KMOS-TV by becoming a contributing member.
