Memorandum of Understanding Signing at Whiteman Airforce Base (Oct. 17, 2012)
President Ambrose and Assistant Dean Monetti visited WAFB to formalize and sign an agreement allowing UCM to provide Baccalaureate Degrees in aviation at WAFB. The MOU will continue UCM's efforts towards the Whiteman Advantage (http://www.ucmo.edu/news/whiteman.advantage.cfm?print=yes&) initiative to honor our service members while helping them prepare for their careers after the military. The courses for WAFB will be available January 2013. Ratings that are proposed to become available on base are sport pilot, private pilot, commercial pilot, flight instructor and airline transport pilot. Also, in Spring 2013, UCM has plans to provide aircraft for flight training on base.
