Gentle Yoga Classes--Tues/Thur 4:45-5:45

Taught by Barb Rhodes, certified yoga instructor, in the Student Wellness Center. This is a beginning class designed for those who doubt their ability to "do" yoga because of age, inflexibility, weight or other issues. Our focus is on breathing and proper alignment in the yoga poses. We move slowly and deliberately as we accommodate different skill levels. The use of props allows for enhanced movement for those with limitations. For those with joint problems/replacements, it is important that you talk with your doctor about limitations and that you honor those limitations. THE COST IS $3 PER SESSION. It is recommended that you bring your own mat although there are mats available.
