UCM Music Department presents guest artists Valentina Igoshina and David Halen
Tuesday, October 9th, at 7:30pm in Hart Recital Hall. UCM's music department is hosting a guest chamber music recital featuring virtuoso pianist Valentina Igoshina and UCM alumni David Halen. Ms. Igoshina is a Russian pianist currently based in Paris, France and holds prizes from major international competitions. Mr. Halen is the concertmaster of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra as well as several other positions including violin professor at the University of Michigan School of Music. Ms. Igoshina will perform a collection of compositions by Chopin and then be joined by Mr. Halen for the ultra-romantic Sonata for Piano and Violin by César Franck.
