Dr. Brown Appointed as Association for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE) Leader
Dr. Pamela Pitman Brown has been appointed as Co-Chair of the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE) K-12 Committee, along with Professor Elizabeth Elmore (Richard Stockton College of New Jersey). Dr. Brown was appointed by Dr. Janet Frank, President of AGHE during the 2013 Annual Conference recently held in St. Petersburg, Florida. AGHEâ€™s K12 Committee is instrumental in developing quality educational resources for teaching children about aging and pairing with elementary and high school teachers on a local level. Dr. Brown has served on the K12 Committee for the past 6 years. Additionally, Dr. Brown was also appointed as the AGHE Pre-Conference Institute Coordinator for the third year by Dr. Frank.
