Sustainability Teach In

On behalf of the Office of Sustainability within the UCM Office of Student Experience and Engagement, I'm proud to present the annual Teach-In on Sustainability to be hosted on Thursday, Feb 13th from 9:30am to 4:15pm in the Elliot Student Union Ballrooms.

This year's theme is entitled SmallChanges BigImpact and will be focused on the small changes individuals can make to have a large impact on the world. Our keynote speaker is LeRoy Shatto from the Shatto Milk Company. He will be speaking at 11:00am on Feb 13th in Union 240. In addition to Shatto, we have a wide array of speakers geared on sustainability. A full schedule can be found at the link below.

We will have a hospitality room for professors and staff who attend the event in Union 304 that will be serving complementary coffee, tea, and pastries from 9:00 a.m. to noon. We welcome all faculty and staff to stop by and enjoy a treat while learning about sustainability issues.

We encourage all faculty, staff, and students to attend this event. Please note that a computer station will be provided for attendance purposes and faculty will be e-mailed a list of students who attend (for extra credit, etc.)

Attached is flyer for the event. We encourage that you share this flyer with your students and anyone interested! Have an excellent semester.
