Britain's expert codebreakers are drug into murder investigations in this new series on PBS
"Bletchley Circle" follows Susan, Millie, Lucy and Jean - ordinary women with an extraordinary ability to break codes, a skill they honed during World War II at the United Kingdom's main decryption establishment, Bletchley Park. These four women battle the mores of the day, applying their encryption and pattern-recognition skills to identify heinous criminals before they are able to strike again.
Like "Downton Abbey," this British drama brings history to life through the lens of an intriguing storyline. "Bletchley Circle" will debut on PBS Sunday evening at 9:00. Episodes two and three will appear on successive weekends.
