Drops for Enrollment Validation Completed - Please Check your Rosters
Thank you for your participation in the Enrollment Validation Policy (EVP). As of yesterday afternoon all students who were reported (by noon on the day following their first day of class) have been dropped. Please review your current rosters in BANNER (MyCentral or ARGOS). The EVP will not be enforced for any online/hybrid classes, second-half semester classes, or classes that begin after January 15th.
Additional drops for non-attendance will not occur after this time. Faculty concerned about a student's lack of attendance may report them through the Early Alert program in the Office of Academic Enrichment. Students who fail to attend after the first week should be assigned an F grade for their mid-term grade with their last date of attendance included. If the student continues to not attend during the semester, a final grade of F should be reported with their last date of attendance included. Drops in Banner are not reflected in Blackboard. Please take a moment to compare your BANNER roster with your Blackboard enrollment and make the proper adjustments.
If you notice that a student has continued to turn in work on Blackboard, but has been dropped from the course in BANNER they will need to be re-enrolled in the course. Students may self-enroll in MyCentral through January 22nd. Late enrollments require permission from the department chair. All other students dropped from BANNER can be deactivated in the Blackboard section. For assistance with deactivating students please call the Technology Support Center at x4357.
