The Criminal Justice Department & the Missouri Corrections Association will sponsor the Globalization of Juvenile Justice Symposium on Tuesday, April 1, 2014. Becky James-Hatter, CEO and President of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri presents: Mentoring Children of Incarcerated Parents: The Amachi Program at 9:30am in UU 240. Scott Odum, Assistant Deputy Director Missouri Division of Youth Services presents: Dual Jurisdiction: Missouri's Blended-Sentencing Option at 11:00am in UU 240. Come view our students' posters entered into the Student Poster Competition hosted by Alpha Phi Sigma which starts at 1:15pm in UU 237A. Lastly, Beth Caldwell, Associate Professor of Legal Analysis, Writing and Skills at Southwestern Law School presents: Providing Juvenile Lifers Meaningful Opportunities for Release: A Global Perspective on California's New Youth Offender Parole Hearings at 2:00pm in UU 240.
