Learn about the Current Civil Rights Battlefront in Arizona
The current civil rights battlefront in Arizona is portrayed in the documentary Precious Knowledge, showing on Monday, February 25, at 7pm in Nahm Auditorium. The film goes into the classrooms of the nationally recognized Mexican American Studies program at Tucson Unified School District while the program was under political attack from conservative activists in the state. Special guest, Pricila Rodriguez, one of the students featured in the film, will be on hand to answer questions after the showing. Event is made possible through a grant from the American Democracy Project.
