GIS Day @ UCM
To celebrate worldwide GIS Day, UCM will be hosting a regional meeting of the Kansas City Arc/Info Users Group (KCAIUG) on Tuesday, November 13, 2012. The event will include presentations by UCM faculty, staff, and students on their geospatial research and activities. All are welcome to register to attend. GIS Day is sponsored by the James C. Kirkpatrick Library, the Biology & Earth Sciences Dept., and the Geography Program. It will take place from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM in JCKL 2441 with a hosted lunch. To register for the event, visit:

The Kansas City Arc/Info Users Group (KCAIUG) is a non-profit group which serves to inform and support people using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in the Greater Kansas City area and the states of Kansas and Missouri. Members include corporate, government, and academic users of GIS.
10 to 50-minute speaking slots are still available for anyone interested in sharing their geospatial research or work with the group.
