Be a Mentor for LGBTQ Students

The Office of Mentoring, Advocacy and Peer Support (MAPS) is creating an LGBTQ Mentorship Program. This program is designed to help LGBTQ students transition to college and have positive interactions with LGBTQ identified peers, faculty and campus leaders.

We need your help to make this program a success. If you identify as a member of the LGBTQ community or as an ally and would be interested in serving as a mentor to an LGBTQ undergraduate student, please fill out the interest form at For more information, contact LGBTQ Graduate Assistant Russell Cornelius at or at 660-543-4156.
