A Look Back to the Dirty 30s

This weekend UCM's public television station KMOS-TV will trek back into the Dust Bowl years - the 1930s - with two lauded historical documentaries.

Saturday night, 7:30 on channel 6.1, KMOS-TV will feature the American Masters biographic film on famed folk balladeer Woody Guthrie in the program "Woody Guthrie: Ain't Got No Home." Sunday evening at 7:00, KMOS debuts the latest Ken Burns historical documentary, "The Dust Bowl, part 1." The concluding episode, chronicling America's worst man-made, ecological disaster will be Monday evening at 7:00.

Television doesn't have to be just fun and games; it can be informative too. Help keep it that way by becoming a member of KMOS-TV today. You can do so through the web site www.kmos.org or by calling UCM's Office of Broadcasting Services at (660) 543-4155 during regular business hours.
