UCM Investment Team is a Finalist in CFA Challenge
The UCM Investment Team has been selected as a finalist in the CFA Institute Research Challenge-Kansas City. The UCM team of Julian Buegers, MD Jahirum Islam, Anthony Njeru and Patrick Schambers will compete against Kansas State University, Northwest Missouri State University, University of Missouri and University of Missouri-Kansas City teams on Saturday, February 9th for the championship. The winner of the Kansas City Challenge will advance to the Regional Americas Challenge in Toronto in March. Arthur Young, Ph.D, CFA, and Associate Professor of Finance at UCM, is the Faculty Advisor for the team and Gary Cloud, CFA, Senior Vice President and Co-Chief Investment Officer Fixed Income is the industry mentor for the team.
