Elvis is Coming to Campus in 2014!
Oh, not really! Religious Studies will be offering a new course entitled, "Elvis. Memphis Messiah," during spring semester of 2014. In conjunction with that course, and in the spirit of Elvis, we thought it would be a lot of fun to plan events that highlighted his life, creative energies, religious heritage, and, of course, his music. We have heard that there are a few Elvis enthusiasts on campus. We would like to extend an invitation to anyone who would like to plan and execute the Elvis events to join us. If you are interested, please email Marla J. Selvidge at selvidge@ucmo.edu. We are looking for people with creative ideas and resources regarding Elvis. As the fans say, "He lives!"
