Apple Devices and Java
Approximately a week ago, Apple blocked the latest version of Java 7 from running on OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard or higher via its XProtect antimalware tool. This seems to have had very little impact to campus Macs or UCM applications running on them, but it's something to be cognizant of if you are user of Apple products.
Preliminary indication from Apple is that they do not intend to block Java 7.12.
