Friends of Community Engagement
Through Friends of Community Engagement we are able to fund programs that educate the University of Central Missouri and Warrensburg communities about human diversity issues.
Since the inception of the Office of Community Engagement, program attendance and co-sponsorship has increased annually.
The UCM Community Engagement program was built upon principles outlined by Ernest L. Boyer in Campus Life: In Search of Community, 1990. UCM's Community Engagement program has received state, regional, and national recognition and we have presented our program at conferences across the country.
