Accreditations
The University of Central Missouri is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges. The Teacher Education Program at Central Missouri is accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), and individual programs are approved by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). Additionally, each program addresses the standards of its professional organization.
