Accreditations
The Counselor Education Program at the University of Central Missouri is fully accredited by the National Council of Accreditation of Teacher Education Programs (NCATE), the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and the Higher Learning Commission (formerly North Central Association of Colleges and Schools).
The Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs has accredited the Counselor Education Program for a two-year period with conditions through October 31, 2012.
