What Is Required for

the TESL Graduate Certificate?

          The certificate program is designed for people who wish to add certification in teaching K-12 English to speakers of other languages (ESOL) to an existing Missouri teaching certificate.  Some international employers also value TESL Certificates.  The program includes seven classes (21 semester hours of credit).  A maximum of six semester hours of approved transfer credit may be applied to the certificate.
