ECHO's goal is to provide backpacks to preschool/daycare children prefilled with food. These backpacks are intended to supplement the dietary needs of these children while they are out of school for the weekend. Backpacks are be distributed to families based on level of need.
Currently, ECHO provides 90-100 backpacks every week to young children in the community, and this number is rising as the program expands. ECHO is always in need of non refrigerated food items, backpacks, and volunteers. To lend a hand, email ECHO at email@example.com
Covering tuition and housing is always a challenge for students. You can make a difference in a student's life by giving to a scholarship fund.
Downtown space at 205 A North Holden supports student entrepreneurs starting their business. Student Entrepreneurs need mentors, advice, guest speakers, and investment capitol. The same location houses student run companies and IBE products as well as a student run thrift store. They need donated items, volunteers, salespeople, and other help. To help, contact Mary McCord.
Mentors are needed for the Entrepreneurship and Social Enterprise students at the IF business hatchery. Mentors will be matched with elite students, and will meet once a month in teams to hear guest speakers, visit work sites, etc.
