Meet Linda Wade
Linda Wade, a native of Marshall, Mo., is a retired educator with more than 30 years of classroom and administrative experience. She taught for 15 years in Missouri and Texas before serving in Harlingen, Texas, as an assistant superintendent for 13 years and then as superintendent for eight years.
Linda graduated from UCM in 1970 with a BS in education and in 1980 with an MS in education. She earned her Ph.D. in leadership from the University of Texas-Austin in 1997. She has served as a board member for Boy Scouts of America, the American Heart Association and the Harlingen Housing Authority.
Linda and her husband, Larry, have two married sons and two granddaughters.
