Meet Scott Alvested
As director of annual giving programs, Scott Alvested gets to raise funds for a cause he knows makes a difference in the lives of students every day. His job keeps him in contact with the greatest number of UCM alumni, especially through the student-run Mule Call.
Scott graduated from UCM with a Bachelor of Art in Mass Communication and is currently working on a Master of Art in Communication. Before coming to the UCM Foundation in 2008, he was promotions coordinator at KMXV 93.3 FM in Kansas City, employee purchase program coordinator at Gateway Computers and marketing coordinator for Comcast Cable.
Originally from Independence, Scott resides in Odessa, Mo., with his wife and daughter. In his spare time, he is active in his church.
