Department of Criminal Justice

Students may apply for multiple scholarships. Most applications for the 2014-2015 academic year must be completed and submitted by March 1, 2014.  Be sure to check below for scholarships that have an application deadline other than March 1.

Name of Scholarship To apply, a student must:
Bill P. Colvin Criminal Justice Scholarship
  • be a full- or part-time junior, senior or graduate student in good academic standing at UCM
  • be pursuing a degree in criminal justice
  • must demonstrate enthusiasm in the area of criminal justice
Criminal Justice Scholar Athlete Scholarship
  • be a full-time student in good academic standing
  • be participating on a UCM varsity athletic team
  • demonstrate financial need
Guillermo "Bill" Davila Scholarship for Criminal Justice
  • be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at UCM
  • be pursuing a degree in criminal justice
  • have a minimum overall cumultive GPA of 3.25
  • demonstrate financial need

Richard N. Holden Graduate Scholarship

  • be a full-time graduate student or have been accepted into the graduate program in good academic standing
  • be pursuing a Master's of Science Degree in Criminal Justice
  • have a minimum GPA of 3.5 in major
Paul Joseph "Jack" Lashbrook Scholarship
  • be a full-time junior or senior student in good academic standing at UCM
  • be pursuing a degree in criminal justice
  • have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • show promise of leadership and service
Allen Sapp Criminal Justice Graduate Student Scholarship
  • be a second-year graduate student pursuing a degree in criminal justice at UCM
  • have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.25
  • demonstrate academic achievement and career potential
  • demonstrate financial need
Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI Scholarship
  • be an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in criminal justice at UCM
  • have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • demonstrate campus leadership
  • Applications shall be accepted and considered at any time throughout the year
