Students may apply for multiple scholarships. Most applications for the 2014-2015 academic year must be completed and submitted by March 1, 2014.  Be sure to check below for scholarships that have an application deadline other than March 1.

Name of Scholarship To apply, a student must:
CenturyLink University of Central Missouri Scholarship (for incoming freshmen students)
  • be a graduating high school senior and be accepted to attend UCM
  • reside within the CenturyLink service area
  • plan to pursue a major within the area(s) of education, science/environment, business/economics, marketing and/or math/computer science
  • have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0
CenturyLink University of Central Missouri Scholarship
  • be a full-time undergraduate student at UCM or be the spouse of a military person
  • be accepted and enrolled at UCM
  • reside within the CenturyLink service area
  • plan to pursue a major within the area(s) of education, science/environment, business/economics, marketing and/or math/computer science
  • have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0
Robert E. Goetz Scholarship
  • be a graduate student in good academic standing at UCM
  • be pursuing a degree in agriculture, aviation or within the School of Technology
Noel B. Grinstead Award
  • The Grinstead Award is presented to the top four-year student majoring in a technology field from aviation, graphic imaging and design technology and/or industrial technology. Recipient must be a graduating student in a B.S. degree program that is a non-teaching major or functional major.
John Hess Health Professions Scholarship
  • be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing
  • be pursuing a graduate degree in a health profession
  • demonstrate leadership ability
  • have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.5
  • participate in social/service organizations and/or extracurricular activities
  • have applied to a health professions graduate degree program
  • preference given to students pursuing a health professions graduate degree in the following areas: Medical, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Dental
William L. Vacek Outstanding Graduate Student Research Award
  • The Vacek Award is awarded to a graduate student within the College of Science and Technology that has conducted outstanding research.
