Students may apply for multiple scholarships. Most applications for the 2013-2014 academic year must be delivered or postmarked by March 1, 2013 to the address printed on the application. Be sure to check below for scholarships that have an application deadline other than March 1.

| Kathryn and Richard Carr Graduate Scholarship in Reading |
- have been accepted into the UCM Graduate School and be a full-time or part-time graduate student pursuing a Master's of Science in Education Degree in reading (preference shall be given to a full-time student)
- have a minimum undergraduate or graduate GPA of 3.0
- show promise of leadership and academic ability in the field of reading
- demonstrate strong potential for leadership in teaching and staff development
- be worthy, deserving and have a commitment to high moral and ethical standards

- be a graduate student in good academic standing at UCM
- be actively pursuing a Master of Science in Education Degree in either elementary education, secondary education or reading; individuals pursuing a Master of Science in Education Degree within an academic discipline are eligible
- have an approved master's program of study within the Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education or Department of Educational Foundations and Literacy
- have earned a Bachelor of Science in Education Degree from UCM
- demonstrate good character, leadership and service

- be pursuing a graduate degree in literacy education
- have received or will receive an undergraduate degree from UCM by June 1
- have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours of undergraduate credit at UCM
- be admitted to the Graduate School at UCM
- have a record of high scholastic achievement while an undergraduate student at UCM
- have demonstrated outstanding leadership in campus activities while an undergraduate student at UCM
- possess high standards of character as evidenced by the statements of peers, employers and instructors
