Students may apply for multiple scholarships. Most applications for the 2013-2014 academic year must be delivered or postmarked by March 1, 2013 to the address printed on the application. Be sure to check below for scholarships that have an application deadline other than March 1.

To apply, a student must: |
| Sarah W. Schwartz Scholarship in Educational Leadership and Human Development |
- be a full- or part-time graduate student in good academic standing at UCM
- be pursuing a degree in the Department of Educational Leadership and Human Development (College Student Personnel Administration, Counselor Education, Educational Leadership - Doctoral Degree, Library Science & Information Services, School Administration, Special Education)
- have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0
- demonstrate financial need
- preference to a female student

| College Student Personnel Administration |
To apply, a student must: |
| Dr. David Sundberg Honorary College Student Personnel Administration Scholarship |
- have completed at least three credit hours of coursework in the college student personnel administration program at UCM
- be enrolled in at least six credit hours of coursework in the college student personnel administration program for the upcoming fall semester
- have a minimum graduate GPA of 3.5 or a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.25 if graduate GPA is not available
- possess high standards of character and leadership as evidenced in applicant's personal statement and in letters of recommendation
- demonstrate outstanding scholastic achievement

| UCM Navy V-12 Scholarship/Irvin L. and Edna A. Peters Scholarship |
- be or plan to be admitted to the School of Graduate and Extended Studies and be accepted into a degree program in higher education and administration of student personnel administration
- have an undergraduate minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or have completed a minimum of nine (9) credit hours of graduate study and have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.25
- have a record of outstanding scholastic achievement
- possess high standard of character and leadership qualities

To apply, a student must: |
| William Burl Hammers Memorial Scholarship |
- be a full-time graduate student in good academic standing at UCM
- be pursuing a degree in elementary guidance counseling
- be worthy, deserving and of good moral character
- show leadership and academic ability in the field of elementary guidance counseling

| Dr. K. Dale Helmick Memorial Scholarship |
- have completed one semester of the graduate program in counseling
- have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.5 in the first nine hours
- demonstrate high ethical standards, responsibility, leadership and achievement
- agree to continue education at UCM

| Educational Leadership-Doctoral Degree |
To apply, a student must: |
Mary E. Warren and Elgeva Waller Education Administration Scholarship |
- be a female student who has been accepted to the Cooperative Doctoral Program at the UCM site and is actively pursuing a degree within the program
- have completed one semester of study within the two-year program
- scholarship is awarded every other year with each incoming cohort group

| Library Science and Information Services |
To apply, a student must: |
| Suzanne Foster Scholarship in Library Science |
- be a full- or part-time graduate student in good academic standing pursuing a degree in library science
- have completed at least one (1) semester of the graduate program in library science
- have a minimum graduate cumulative GPA of 3.5 in the first nine (9) hours
- have a sound understanding of technology in education, information literacy and library instruction practices
- demonstrate high ethical standards, responsibility, leadership and achievement
- intend to continue education at UCM
- Application deadline: November 1 and March 1

| Dr. Aileen Helmick Memorial Scholarship in Library Science |
- have completed one semester of the graduate program in library science
- have a minimum overall graduate cumulative GPA of 3.5 in the first nine hours
- have a sound understanding of intellectual freedom and censorship issues
- demonstrate high ethical standards, responsibility, leadership and achievement
- agree to continue education at UCM

| Mary Frances Dick Hayden Memorial Scholarship |
- be a full-time student in good academic standing at UCM
- be pursuing a degree in English or Library Science
- have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0
- demonstrate financial need

Beatrice Ricks Library Scholarship |
- be a full-time graduate student in good academic standing at UCM
- be pursuing a Master's Degree in library science
- demonstrate academic ability in the field of library science
- demonstrate good character, leadership and service

To apply, a student must: |
| Dr. John Paul Mees Scholarship in Educational Administration |
- be a full-or part-time student actively pursuing an Education Specialist Degree in School Administration
- be worthy, deserving and show promise of leadership and academic ability in the field of school administration
- have been admitted to the Graduate School
- be accepted into the Education Specialist program
- demonstrate a record of academic excellence and a commitment of service to both school and community

- be admitted to and actively pursuing a Master of Science in Education or Education Specialist degree in School Administration
- document success as a professional educator
- document successful progress toward degree completion
- document potential as a school leader

| Special Education |
To apply, a student must: |
| Edward J. and Frances Allen Cleary Scholarship in Special Education |
- be a full-time junior or senior student in good academic standing at UCM
- be pursuing a degree in special education and plan to be a special education teacher
- be worthy, deserving and of good moral character
- show promise of leadership and academic ability in the field of special education

| Coonley-Guth Scholarship |
- be a full-time junior student in good academic standing at UCM (second preference shall be given to senior students)
- be pursuing a degree in special education
- have a minimum GPA of 2.5 in major
- demonstrate good character, leadership and service
|
| Louise Thielbar Keisker Scholarship for Graduate Studies in Special Education |
- be accepted into the Master of Science degree in Special Education program
- have completed an undergraduate degree in special education
- have a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.75
|
| Donald L. Osborn Special Education Scholarship |

A full- or part-time graduate student in good academic standing pursuing certification and/or a master’s degree in Special Education and;
-
Be enrolled in class(es) focusing on special education in order to gain advanced knowledge with preference shown to students focusing on Autism Spectrum Disorders; and;
-
Maintain a 3.25 grade point average in graduate coursework.

- be a full-time undergraduate student in good academic standing at UCM

- demonstrate active professional service to special education students and to the field of special education
