Students may apply for multiple scholarships. Most applications for the 2014-2015 academic year must be completed and submitted by March 1, 2014.  Be sure to check below for scholarships that have an application deadline other than March 1.

Name of Scholarship To apply, a student must:
Alpha Omicron Pi - Jessie Marie Cramer Scholarship
  • be a full-time senior, female student in good academic standing at UCM
  • be a member of Alpha Omicron Pi (however, if no members of Alpha Omicron Pi apply or are deemed eligible, other applicants shall be considered)
Beta Sigma Psi - Pi Chapter Alumni Scholarship (for incoming freshmen)
  • be accepted to UCM
  • have a religious affiliation with the Lutheran Church
  • have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • be worthy, deserving and of good moral character
  • be a child of a Beta Sigma Psi-Pi Chapter alumnus (however, if no children of a Beta Sigma Psi-Pi Chapter alumnus apply or are deemed eligible, consideration shall be given to all other applicants meeting specified criteria)
Beta Sigma Psi - Pi Chapter Alumni Scholarship (for current students)
  • be a full-time undergraduate student in good academic standing at UCM
  • have a religious affiliation with the Lutheran Church
  • have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • be worthy, deserving and of good moral character
  • be a child of a Beta Sigma Psi-Pi Chapter alumnus (however, if no children of a Beta Sigma Psi-Pi Chapter alumnus apply or are deemed eligible, consideration shall be given to all other applicants meeting specified criteria)
Delta Chi Fraternity Scholarship
  • be a full-time student at UCM
  • be an active member of Delta Chi Fraternity at UCM
  • have earned a minimum of 30 credit hours
  • have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.5 or a minimum GPA of 3.0 in major
  • demonstrate good character, leadership and service to both UCM and to Delta Chi Fraternity
William Jr. and Minerva Denning Panhellenic Scholarship
  • be a full-time undergraduate student in good academic standing at UCM
  • be a member of the UCM National Panhellenic Conference (Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Phi, Alpha Sigma Alpha, Delta Zeta, Sigma Kappa, Sigma Sigma Sigma)
  • have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • student does not need to be on the Panhellenic Council
Gina Galetti Scholarship (for incoming freshmen students)
  • be a graduating senior of North Kansas City High School, or, be a dependent child living with a firefighter who is a member of the Kansas City, MO Fire Department and who is a member of Local 421AFF (International Association of Firefighters)
  • be accepted to UCM
  • demonstrate good character, leadership and service
  • be actively involved in high school and community activities
Gina Galetti Scholarship
  • be a full-time student in good academic standing at UCM
  • be an active member of Kappa Sigma Kappa social sorority; Sigma Phi Epsilon social fraternity; dependent child living with a firefighter who is a member of the Kansas City, MO Fire Department and who is a member of Local 421AFF (International Association of Firefighters); a graduate of North Kansas City High School or a currently enrolled full-time student at UCM
  • demonstrate good character, leadership and service
  • be actively involved in campus and community activities
J. Darin Goodman Memorial Scholarship
  • be a full-time undergraduate student at UCM
  • be an active member of Sigma Phi Epsilon, Theta Chapter
  • be worthy, deserving and of good moral character
  • show promise of leadership

Katy Henry "Average" Student Scholarship

  • be a female undergraduate student and an active member of a sorority at UCM for at least one academic year (or 2 academic semesters)
  • have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.5 to 3.25
  • be active in intramural sports, philanthropic activities, community involvement and/or campus involvement
James M. Kilmer Scholarship
  • be a full-time sophomore, junior or senior student in good academic standing at UCM
  • be an active member of Alpha Chapter of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity
  • have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.0
  • be worthy, deserving and of good moral character
  • show promise of leadership and exhibit abstinence from alcohol and drug use
  • recipients of this scholarship shall be outstanding examples to their fellow students through dedication to upholding the high ideals of the fraternity and to being responsible citizens; they shall exhibit pride in Sigma Tau Gamma and the University of Central Missouri
Kappa Sigma Kappa / Theta Chi Alumni Scholarship
  • be full-time student in good academic standing at UCM
  • be pursuing a recognized and accepted major at UCM
  • be an active, initiated member in good standing according to the bylaws of the Epsilon Phi Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity
  • have a GPA that exceeds the corresponding semester's All Men's GPA at UCM as published by the Office of Campus Activities
  • demonstrate active involvement in the Epsilon Phi Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity as well as in campus activities outside of Greek Life
  • show promise of leadership
Lambda Chi Alpha - J.P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship
  • be an incoming freshman male student and be accepted to UCM or be a current initiate of Lambda Chi Alpha
  • be or plan to be a prospective member of Lamba Chi Alpha Fraternity, Lambda Pi Zeta Chapter
  • have a high school GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • have participated in at least one high school-sponsored competitive sport
  • have had a leadership role in at least one high school-sponsored organization for at least one full academic year
  • show promise of leadership
  • be worthy, deserving and of good moral character
  • Application Deadline: October 1
Marilyn Landers Leadership Scholarship
  • be a full-time junior or senior student in good academic standing at UCM
  • be an active member of Epsilon Gamma Chapter of Delta Zeta Sorority for at least one academic year (2 academic semesters)
  • be worthy, deserving and have a documented record of leadership within the Epsilon Gamma Chapter of Delta Zeta Sorority at UCM
  • A female junior or senior student who has transferred from another college or university and who has been an active member of Delta Zeta Chapter may also be considered.
Marth Insurance Agency ATO Scholarship
  • be an active member in good standing of the Iota Sigma Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega at UCM
  • have a GPA at or above the All Men's GPA at UCM as published by the Office of Campus Activities
  • demonstrate active involvement in the Chapter and in the community
Panhellenic Go Greek Scholarship
  • be an incoming freshman student and be accepted to UCM or be a current first-semester freshman student in good academic standing at UCM
  • be a female student
  • have a minimum high school GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
  • register for sorority recruitment in the fall - for information regarding sorority recruitment, go to: http://www.ucmo.edu/greeklife/
  • preference shall be given to a student interested in joining a social sorority at UCM
  • Application deadline: October 1
Amanda Rohlman Memorial Scholarship
  • be a full-time junior or senior student in good academic standing at UCM
  • be an active member of a Panhellenic sorority at UCM
  • have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • be active in intramural sports and Panhellenic campus activities
Sigma Phi Epsilon - MO Theta Chapter Alumni Scholarship
  • be a full-time student in good academic standing at UCM
  • be an active, initiated member in good standing of Sigma Phi Epsilon - Missouri Theta Chapter
  • demonstrate good character, leadership and service to UCM and to Sigma Phi Epsilon
  • strive to live by the cardinal principles of Sigma Phi Epsilon
  • have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.5
Christy "Cee" Cox Whitley Sisterhood Award
  • be a full-time junior or senior female student at UCM
  • be a current, initiated member of the Theta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi International Fraternity
  • be in good standing with regard to academic and financial commitments to the Fraternity
  • be worthy, deserving and of good moral character
  • demonstrate leadership and motivational skills
  • recipient(s) shall be known among her peers as an inspirational, motivational and supportive member of the Theta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi International Fraternity
