GIS Facilities at UCM
All UCM students, faculty and staff have access to ESRI ArcGIS software via the university’s site license.
In addition to individual software access, the University of Central Missouri has several departments and units on campus that provide access to GIS computing resources and assistance. Use of these resources is limited to UCM faculty, staff, and students, unless additional restrictions are noted below. Available GIS facilities are:
UCM Center for Spatial Data Analysis - The Department of Geography and Interdisciplinary Studies maintains this state-of-the-art Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Lab, located in Wood 004.
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Other days/times by appointment.

Campus Labs with ESRI ArcGIS –ESRI ArcGIS software and extensions have been installed in several computer labs across campus. These include:
Harmon Computer Commons: James C. Kirkpatrick Library, first floor
Biology Laboratory, W. C. Morris Building
