What is your favorite building?
My favorite building is Hosey Hall. I love the environment. There’s a great balance between time to study and time for activities. I’ve met a lot of my friends here and its connected to the dining hall in Todd.
Why did you decide to stay on campus?
I chose to stay on campus because I feel like I’m closer to the college. It’s easier for me to get to places since I’m involved in so much. It’s just convenient to live here. You’re also in an environment where everyones trying to study and my peers are there to help motivate me.
How has living on campus helped you as a student?
Living on campus has helped me as a student because I’m always near my classes. I’m right next to the library and I go there often. It’s also nice because a lot of my classmates live close to me.

Favorite part about living on campus:
I love experiencing all the diversity. There are so many people here from different areas. Just meeting people is really great.
What buildings have you lived in and why did you choose those buildings?
I’m living in Hosey because I am an honors student. It is quiet and its in a good area and there is the library downstairs. I love that this building is next to the dining hall and the multipurpose building and the stadium. I really love this location.
What is your best memory of living on campus?
I had a really great memory at the beginning of the year during family weekend. I entered the family of the year competition and won. My whole family came down and we got to meet the president and sit in the press box to watch the football game.
What are some of the benefits of living on campus?
The amount of people you get to meet, even just within your hall. You're really close to all of your classes and you don’t have to worry about commuting, which saves a lot of time. All of your meals are right here next to you. The rooms are great too and provide everything you need. I definitely know more about all the student activities because I see the flyers in the halls. I probably wouldn’t have gotten involved in some of the organizations I have if I hadn’t lived on campus.
