Sick Leave
Sick leave is provided to full-time employees to be used during temporary absences due to personal illness or injury. Sick leave may not be used for other types of absences unless specified by policy.
Staff and faculty employees accrue 5 hours of sick leave at the conclusion of each semi-monthly pay period. During the summer semester, faculty will receive a pro-rated amount based on their teaching load.
Unused sick leave will not be paid to active employees upon termination of employment. Unused sick leave will be reported to MOSERS upon termination from UCM.
