Educational Innovation Incubator

The Educational Innovation Incubator is the nexus of 21st century teaching in Missouri. Built on top of the standard electronic classroom foundation at the University of Central Missouri it surpasses this threshold and continues to grow and evolve. Not only can faculty schedule classes to use this incubator, for either a single day, a few weeks, or the entire semester, but faculty can also request specific items be purchased through an internal funding process. By continually updating and replacing equipment the University of Central Missouri Educational Innovation Incubator remains in the forefront of technology.

Faculty have the ability to:

• teach in a cutting edge classroom
• experiment with the latest tools and technologies
• request items to be purchased
• research effective pedagogy in such a setting leading to publishable scholarship of teaching and learning
• provide students with great experiences
