Center for Business Internships
Career Expo Preparation
If you're interested in participating in an internship consider attending the next Career Expo. Career Expos are held each fall & spring.
Recruiters from over 100 business organizations come to campus to pick up resumes and interview potential interns as part of the Career Expo. This event provides students with the ability to identify several opportunities and network with prospective employers recruiting students for full-time and internship positions in all areas of business.
About Three Weeks Prior to Each Expo
Recruiters ask that resumes (and sometimes, transcripts) be forwarded to them prior to their arrival on campus. We must approve your application and confirm your file is complete, before we move forward. We ask that you follow these steps:
- Come to Ward Edwards, Room 1614 or 1616, The Center for Business Internships, and pick up an application. Complete the application and return to our office.
- In addition to the Career Expos, there are several possibilities for finding internships online. You can also find job postings through the Center for Business Internships.
- Stay in contact with the Center for Business Internships. Remember, there are many sources for obtaining a job. The only way to obtain an internship for academic credit is through this office. You and the position must be approved for an internship prior to starting the program.
