UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT'S - GRADUATION CHECKLIST:
All undergraduate students must complete an application for degree with the Office of the Registrar one semester before they intend to complete their remaining requirements. Degree candidates must apply no later than thirty days prior to the commencement ceremony. Degree candidates can apply online. The completed degree evaluation, including all remaining degree requirements, will be sent by UCM email approximately 1-2 weeks after receipt of the application. If, after 1-2 weeks, you do not receive the email indicating the graduation list to which you have been added and your remaining degree requirements, please contact the Registrar's Office.

Please review all remaining graduation requirements as noted and then make any necessary adjustment in your scheduled coursework. All requirements must be met before a degree will be conferred. This includes departmental substitutions, “U” removals, listings of departmentally approved major electives, and all other deficiencies.

Candidates must fulfill all financial obligations to the University before their final transcript and diploma can be issued.

Candidates planning to participate in the commencement ceremony may pick up a cap and gown at the University Store approximately one month before graduation. Picture ID is required. Name cards can be picked up at the Registrar's Office during Finals week. Picture ID is required.
Graduate Students - SPRING 2013 Remaining Graduation Deadlines
May 31, 2013 Last day to clear students for SpringGraduation. All requirements/U grades must be completed prior to this date.
June 2013 Registrar will mail the diploma 6-8 weeks after the close of the Spring semester.
GRADUATE Students - SUMMER 2013 GRADUATION DEADLINES

June 7, 2013 Application for Graduate Degree forms due to the Graduate Program Advisor.
June 14, 2013 Application for Graduate Degree forms due from the Advisor to the Graduate Studies Office.
July 26, 2013 Thesis and Research paper submission to the Graduate Studies office
August 31, 2013 Last day to clear students for Summer Graduation. All requirements/U grades must be completed prior to this date.
September 2013 Registrar will mail the diploma 6-8 weeks after the close of the summer semester.
November 4, 2013 Commencement Packets available in the Office Graduate Studies for those summer graduates who wish to participate in the fall ceremony.

October 4, 2013 Application for Graduate Degree forms due to the Graduate Program Advisor
October 11, 2013 Application for Graduate Degree forms due from the Advisor to the Graduate Studies office. Students’ names will not appear in the Commencement Brochure if Application for Graduate Degree Form is received after October 11.
November 4, 2013 Commencement Packets available in the Graduate Studies office for those participating in the Ceremony
December 6, 2013 Thesis and Research Paper submission to the Graduate Studies office
December 13, 2013 Check the website for Commencement details.
