Listed below are scholarships (and their criteria) that Crisis and Disaster Management students may be eligible for. The deadline to apply for scholarships each year is March 1.

Ada Franklin DeWitt Bennett Memorial Scholarship

  • be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing at UCM
  • have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • demonstrate financial need

Colie and Georgia Ervin Scholarship

  • be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing at UCM
  • have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • demonstrate financial need

Tolivar H. Franklin Scholarship

  • be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing at UCM
  • have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • demonstrate financial need

John and Fran Gruver Family Scholarship

  • be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing at UCM
  • demonstrate financial need

Ellen Gross Wood Scholarship

  • be a full- or part-time undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing at UCM
  • demonstrate financial need

Katzentine/Carswell/Cheatham Scholarship

  • be an undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing at UCM
  • have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • demonstrate financial need

Ralph J. Martz Scholarship

  • be a full-time undergraduate student in good academic standing
  • demonstrate financial need

UCM Navy V-12 Scholarship

  • be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at UCM
  • have been or planning for a military career or have a parent or relative that has been associated with the military
  • demonstrate outstanding leadership abilities and high scholastic achievement
  • posses high standards of character as evidenced by the statements of peers, employers and instructors
  • demonstrate financial need

Jack and Aggie O'Brien Scholarship

  • be a full-time undergraduate student at UCM
  • be worthy, deserving and of good moral character
  • show promise of leadership and academic ability in the field of his/her choice
  • demonstrate financial need

Dova Lee Shelton Memorial Scholarship

  • be a full-time female student in good academic standing at UCM
  • be worthy, deserving and of good moral character
  • show promise of leadership and academic ability
  • demonstrate financial need

Swezy Family Scholarship

  • be a non-traditional student (at least 25 years of age) in good academic standing at UCM
  • be worthy and deserving
  • have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • demonstrate financial need

UCM University Women Scholarship for Non-Traditional Students

  • be a non-traditional student (at least 25 years of age) in good academic standing and enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at UCM
  • be worthy, deserving and of good moral character
  • show promise of leadership and academic ability
  • demonstrate financial need
  • be a single parent (however, if no single parents apply or are deemed eligible, other applicants shall be considered)

Zelma Fabra VanderLinden Opportunity Scholarship

  • be a full-time undergraduate student in good academic standing at UCM
  • demonstrate financial need
