National Sales Competition

2007 National Collegiate
Sales Competition
Quarter and Semi-quarter Finalist
Serenity Nelson and Mark Schuermann

Each year in the middle of March, approximately forty sales teams from various universities gather in Atlanta, Georgia to compete in the annual National Collegiate Sales Competition (NCSC). Students are judged on how well they perform during two 20-minute sales presentations. The officials judging these presentations are a combination of college professors teaching sales and marketing, and sales and marketing executives. Presenting students have the opportunity to interact with CEOs, Directors of Marketing, Sales Managers and Human Resource Directors from major corporations at the job fair. Not only does the NCSC provide an excellent venue for student recruitment; it also allows students, marketing professors, and sales executives to come together and share knowledge with each other from their experience in the sales world.
