Instructor in Computer Science
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Central Missouri (UCM) invites applications for a non-tenure track instructor position in Computer Science to begin in August 2013. This position might be renewable on a year to year basis pending upon enrollment and budget.
Applicants must have an M.S. degree in Computer Science or a related professional field (Ph.D. degree preferred). Previous college/university teaching experience is highly desirable. The successful candidate should be able to teach one or more of the following courses: Programming Languages, Operating Systems, Software Engineering, Algorithm Design and Analysis, Computer Networking, Database, Object-Oriented Programming in C#, and Android Programming.
The faculty will be expected to teach 12 credit hours per semester at UCM’s Warrensburg campus and/or Central Summit Center in Lee’s Summit MO.

Adjuncts in Computer Science
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Central Missouri (UCM) invites applications for adjunct faculty position(s) in Computer Science to begin in August 2013 pending upon enrollment and budget.
Applicants must have an M.S. degree in Computer Science or a related professional field (Ph.D. degree preferred). Previous college/university teaching experience is highly desirable. The successful candidate should be able to teach one or more of the following courses: Programming Languages, Operating Systems, Software Engineering, Algorithm Design and Analysis, Computer Networking, Database, Object-Oriented Programming in C#, and Android Programming.
The adjunct faculty will be expected to teach 1-2 courses per semester at UCM’s Warrensburg campus and/or Central Summit Center in Lee’s Summit MO. Some courses meet once per week in an evening or weekend.

UCM is located in Warrensburg, MO, which is 35 miles southeast of the Kansas City metropolitan area. It is a public comprehensive university with nearly 12,000 students. The department offers baccalaureate degrees in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Secondary Mathematics Education. Master of Science degrees are offered in Computer Science, and Mathematics.
