Missouri Innovation Campus Programs - Accelerated Degree Programs

Programs

Beginning their junior year in high school, students take classes from Metropolitan Community College and the University of Central Missouri to earn college credit. Upon graduation from high school, these students will have their high school diplomas and associate degrees.

After high school graduation, students who finish their entire MCC curriculum are eligible to complete a bachelor's degree from UCM in only two years.

Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering Technology

Associate Degree: Computer Science and Information Systems, System Administration and Engineering emphasis

The Systems Engineering Technology program is a unique blend of Computer Information Systems and Networking courses that prepare graduates for a career in the exciting and continually growing IT world. The SET program was developed in collaboration with some of the most progressive, high-tech industries in the country in order to meet their ever-changing needs. Students will receive a strong background in operating systems, database management, and networking, making them a valuable asset to any company.

Bachelor of Science in Drafting and Design Technology

Associate Degree: Engineering Technology, Architecture emphasis

UCM’s Design and Drafting Technology program is the only four-year program of its kind in the state and one of only a few in the country. Our accredited program provides graduates with the skills employers demand for computer aided drafting and design, related technical skills, and the management components of the CADD fields. Our graduates are highly recruited for their strong, hands-on skills gained throughout their degree.

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

Associate Degree: Computer Science and Information Systems, Software Development emphasis

The computer industry is one of the fastest growing segments of our economy. Computers are used in almost every aspect of our lives, and more than ever, there is a demand for a workforce with the scientific and technical training necessary to perform effectively on the job. UCM's Computer Science program is designed according to ACM's curriculum recommendations and is periodically revised to meet the fast-changing pace of computer science in today's world.
