USER IDS AND PASSWORDS
New students admitted for the Fall 2009 semester will have two identifiers, each with an associated password, for UCM’s computing systems:

A MyCentral User ID,which is the same as the student ID number

Your MyCentral identifiers allow access to course enrollment, grades, bills, and other functions at MyCentral.ucmo.edu. Your network identifiers allow access to network resources, email and the Blackboard Course Management system.

Both the MyCentral Password and the Network Password are initially set to a default value. For students beginning coursework in the Summer and/or Fall 2009 semesters, your birthday is your default password. For example, if your birthday was February 18, 1991, your default password would be 021891. For students beginning coursework after that time period, you will be provided a randomized default password.

You will be required to change your default password to a complex password when you log in to MyCentral for the first time. Be sure to set security questions in case you forget your password. It is important that you set the answers to your security questions to answers that you can easily recall when you need them. Changing your MyCentral password does not change your Network password.
